Mark Eastman has represented clients in complex corporate and securities transactions for over 25 years. Mr. Eastman began his legal career at the Wall Street law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed, working primarily in the Los Angeles office. He later joined at the Los Angeles firm, Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, where he became a partner in the Corporate Securities department. In April of 2000 he joined Case Knowlson LLP as Of Counsel.
Mr. Eastman received his B.A. degree from Rutgers University, and he received his J.D. from Stanford Law School. He is a member of the California bar.
Mr. Eastman concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions and private placements of equity and debt securities. He also has extensive experience in advising clients with respect to entity formation, joint ventures, licensing, financings and other complex business transactions. He has also been involved in numerous commercial real property transactions, including retail redevelopment, leasing, financing, acquisitions and sales.
